Founder coaching

Making change last

As an ambitious founder, you have probably done your research. You have already read and learned a lot about your behavior. You know what you are doing wrong and what to change. But no matter how hard you try, you find it challenging to create and maintain new routines.

As Anders Ericsson wrote in his book Peak, becoming really good at something is more than just a matter of knowing what to do. It’s just as important to be able to reflect on your present behavior, gaining insights into what is driving your behavior. Only then can you put those insights into practice, by trying new habits or tweaking your old ones.

This is where coaching comes in: providing you with relevant and personal feedback will enable you to grow and sustain that growth.

Changing the right habits

Working with me means you will be changing some of the habits that are often overlooked when striving for startup success. Instead of focusing on how much work you put in, you will learn to focus on the output and the quality of your work. And for a founder, that is your no. 1 priority.

You might also appreciate working on a better life-work balance. A founder’s life is hectic at least and time to spend with your family or friends is often limited. For many founders that leads to feelings of guilt and stress, interfering with their focus at work. So life-work balance in this case is a means, not just a goal. And you will find that it is a very effective one.

Starting easy

During the coaching sessions, we will not only look at your habits. Together we will also explore how your work environment and personal circumstances affect your responses. By tweaking those, you will create a better environment for better routines, one step at a time.
